West Tamar Wax
West Tamar Wax was created to share my love of candles and creating them.
As a busy mother of 4 & a grandmother to 4, I have always enjoyed lighting a candle to wind down & relax.
My obsession with candles started as a teenager, when I began to collect a vast collection of different coloured and scented candles. Candles for me were not just relaxing but fun to make too.
After attending my first candle making workshop, a seed was planted.. could I do this on a bigger scale, maybe start a small business?
That idea was put on hold due to my growing family, studies and moving interstate.
Finally the seed that was planted long ago began to sprout, making me realise I can and should do something for me that I love and enjoy. So I began the long process of testing and research, which I found to be quite therapeutic, interesting & at times frustrating!
After testing for myself, family & friends, I began to find my candle groove. The seed had now bloomed into West Tamar Wax. I am quite proud of my final products and look forward to adding some new editions to my inventory for you.
I hope you enjoy my products as much as I have enjoyed making them for you. All candles are hand poured, so no two products will be the same. I use soy wax which is a natural product - no nasty paraffin here!
